Sauce Labs Agentic Vision

Overview
In 2024 I was asked to define how Sauce Labs would bring its first AI products to market and to present that vision to the whole company at the annual kickoff. I then directed the design and launch of those products: Sauce AI for Insights and Test Authoring.
The Challenge
AI agents were brand new, and Sauce Labs had never shipped one. Resources were limited and the timeline was tight. With the help of one designer, I planned, designed, and presented both the vision and a working prototype.
The Plan
Iteratively prototype to show the vision, using user research and customer feedback from the preceding months. Share the vision with the company at the yearly kickoff to get everyone excited and on board with our direction.
The Results
The presentation was a great success and we launched both products within months. These are now flagship products for Sauce Labs and continue to be expanded as our agentic platform grows.
